Everyone is recognizing that kids need to move! They need to move more and more everyday!
Make sure that your children run that long run; bike to build their legs and heart strength; climb to build upper body strength and learn to roll and tuck their heads to protect themselves.
There has to be an underlying plan to keep hearts beating and legs running and arms working while climbing...it is up to you, as the caregiver to keep a mental accounting of each kids' daily activity.
No need to actually convert actions to calories burned but make sure you keep a tally of the number of minutes of activity that is accomplished each day for each child.
If you need some ideas for ways to have your kids play and build their brain power to try this information site.
Remember that a youngster has to start learning to move. Then they can move to learn and then the bonus will be they LEARN to LEARN.
Build a sound foundation for a lifetime of physical activity.
